Beware Alaska Part VIIb – ‘War’
The man on the red horse held a sword and as he catched up with me, his lips formed one single word. “War!”.
Tyler stared at the screen. “This is insane“, he thought. They can’t do that.
“Militant seperatists have stormed the city hall of Anchorage and are now demanding that the US-Governement should accept the independence of Alaska.”
Tyler hesitated for a moment, then grabbed the phone and dialed the number of the Secretary of Homeland Security.
“Billy Gerald here”
“Tyler. Listen Billy – I thought about it and… well…”
“… You want the National Guard in.”
“How in hell…?!”
“John, it was obvious…”
2 days later…“Fights between Alaska seperatists and the National Guard are still continueing, as governement troops are gaining ground in downtown Anchorage. However, there are reports of beginning firefights in both Fairbanks and Juneau. Though it seemed in the beginning, the seperatists were fighting for a lost cause, they are pretty strong and stand against the National Guard, as if there was some dark unnatural force helping them.
